The Heritage Gardeners Program centres on horticultural education and supports the environment. Heritage Gardeners are a group of friendly volunteers always looking to share their passion for their community with others. Volunteers have their own motivation for joining which include: socializing with friends, learning about gardening, meeting new people, or staying active.
No gardening experience is required to join! Volunteers can be involved in much more than just gardening – become a member of our design team, a committee member, or a team leader for a garden. Joining the Heritage Gardeners is a great opportunity for secondary school students to earn required volunteer hours for high school or to add new skills to their resume.
If you would like to become a Heritage Gardener, please register using the 2021 Volunteer Gardening Registration form by clicking HERE. This is a fillable PDF that allows you to type your information directly into the document. If you cannot complete the fillable form, please email a scanned version of your signed and completed form to heritage.gardeners@heritagenorthbay.com or hard copy by mail/drop-off to the North Bay Museum at 100 Ferguson St., North Bay, ON, P1B 1W8.
