Our gardeners are not required to have any previous gardening experience. Each garden team is led by a knowledgeable team leader who is ready to guide their team in the garden. The gardeners learn the basics about gardening with their team in a fun and co-operative setting.
Education Nights
The Heritage Gardeners host a series of education nights every spring and fall. These education nights are held at the North Bay Museum and provide valuable information on a range of topics. The education nights consist of a presentation and then time for questions and discussion. This allows for an engaging learning experience. The education sessions are free and open to the public.
Gardening Resources
The seasonal newsletter contains information about HG events and news but, additionally, includes relevant gardening resources. You can sign up for our newsletter by clicking here. The Heritage Gardeners have a small library of gardening books that cover a range of topics available upon request for our volunteers to borrow.
