Saturday May 11, 2019
9 AM – 11 AM
Location: North Bay’s Beautiful Waterfront! Meet at the Rotary Rotunda.
Join Heritage Gardener volunteers and the community in the annual cleanup of North Bay’s beautiful waterfront and gardens!
On Saturday, May 11, 2019 the Heritage Gardeners’ Annual Waterfront Clean-up will take place. The clean-up was started by the North Bay Heritage Gardeners to encourage the community to trim, tidy and pick-up accumulated litter from the Waterfront beds. You can help by assisting in general litter clean-up or teaming up with existing gardeners to tidy their garden beds. During the spring 2018 clean-up, 55 volunteers removed more than 100 bags of litter and garden waste from the Waterfront!
Participants meet at the Rotary Rotunda gazebo beside the Marina building. The day kicks-off by sharing clean-up tips and spring activities with the participants.
Garden waste bags and litter bags are provided. Volunteers may clean-up the Waterfront from 9:00 a.m. to 11 a.m. Coffee & tea will be provided. Please bring your own gardening gloves.
Participants are asked to pre-register by May 9, 2019, by calling (705) 472-4006 or emailing heritage.gardeners@heritagenorthbay.com. A 2019 volunteer registration form must be completed before you start gardening. This event is FREE & open to the PUBLIC.
