About the speaker
Peggy Walsh Craig has gardened organically in the North Bay area since 1970. After graduating from the University of Guelph in horticulture, Peggy worked in the nursery business and continued speaking for the environment, both life-long passions.
Her talk, ‘Cultivate Soils for Prolific Gardens and Calm Climate,’ helps gardeners be more successful by explaining the important role of soil. In addition, soil building can be significant in capturing carbon and easing the effects of climate change. Find out how your garden can help the environment in ways you didn’t expect!
